Callidus Design has recently been appointed by the University of St Andrews as the Mechanical and Electrical Consultants to modify the ventilation systems associated with the Library Store. The Library Store is a 2-storey building constructed in mid-2009 for the purposes of storing precious artefacts under controlled environmental conditions. The modifications include introducing humidity control into a number of store rooms which were previously only temperature controlled. Other store rooms which already have humidity control require to be upgraded to introduce close control on both temperature (+/- 1 DegC) and humidity (+/- 5% RH).
